About
Hello! My name is Caitlyn Khong Cortado.

Mission
Throughout my life, I’ve always loved art. I took as many art classes as I could in Middle School, and I started involving myself in the graphic design industry at a young age. Immersing myself in the anime community, I joined Anime Amino, a social media platform for anime fans. There, I learned how to make photo edits, background removals, and placements of different elements. In my fascination with photo editing, I took an Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Premiere Pro class. After high school, I took a break from digital editing and really focused on drawing illustrations. Specifically, illustrations for tattoos. Illustration and design has helped me develop the skills to combine different elements, themes, and objects into one concise image.
After taking some time to improve my mental health, I started a job at ENSO Rings where I learned how to use Adobe Illustrator. Here, I learned how certain design elements only work for certain situations. Seeing my progress, my managers encouraged me to take a closer look into the Graphic Design industry. I started school for my Web & Graphic Design certificate at Davis Technical College in 2022. My favorite course was Adobe Photoshop. It was fun and I learned a lot of tips, tricks, and standards that have helped me in my designs.
I am truly grateful for all the opportunities and experiences that I was given. I hope that my designs can give people confidence, style, and connection. I am eager to connect and explore how I can bring your brand too life; check out my contact page, and let’s embark on a creative journey together!
